O sweet Child Mary, who being destined to be
the Mother of God, has become our beloved Queen and Mother,
for the numberless graces you have obtained for us, listen to
my humble prayers. All my hope is upon you, in all the needs
which surround me.

O Holy Child, by the merits and privileges which have
been given to you, be merciful to me, show that the source
of the spiritual treasure, you give out is inexhaustible, for the
profusion of graces Almighty God has given you. O heavenly
Child, grant my prayer, and I will praise your goodness
forever.

1. Look upon your daughters,
Holy Child Mary,
With faith invoke thee,
Our sweetest little Queen.

Chorus: At your cradle
Happily we come,
Holy Child Mary,
O pray for us.

2. To thee, O Queen of virgins,
O mother mild,
Trustfully call on thee,

O God, thank you for last night's sleep and thank you for today.
Be with me all through the day and help me to live as I ought.
Make this a happy day for myself and for all whom I meet.

Bless my studies which I am going to begin and help me to concentrate on my work,
to remember the things which I have learnt and to take full part in the life and activities of my school.

Our Father in Heaven,
Holy be your name;
your Kingdom come;
your will be done on earth as in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us.
Do not bring us to the test but deliver us from evil.

O my God I thank you for all the blessings
which you did bestow on me this day.
Pardon me for my failings and grant
that I may love and serve you all my life.

Enlighten our minds,
O Lord,
and help us to understand what we will be taught,
and to retain what we study so that we may become wiser and better.

Thank you God for helping us in our studies.
Bless our teachers who have taken care of us.
Be with us on our way home and
Protect us from every danger.

Bless us, O Lord,
and these your gifts which we are about to receive from your bounty.

We give you thanks,
Almighty God,
for all the benefits we have received from your bounty.

Lord and source of all wisdom and knowledge.
We thank you for all the people who have shared their knowledge with me,
particularly I remember my parents and teachers.
Help me Lord,
to retain in my memory what I have studied and the grace to answer
every question correctly.
May your Holy Spirit be my light,
strength and guide.

1. India is my country. All Indians are my
brothers and sisters.

2. I love my country and I am proud of its
rich and varied heritage. I shall always
strive to be worthy of it.

3. I shall give my parents, teachers and
elders respect and treat everyone with
courtesy and politeness.

4. To my country and people, I pledge
my devotion, in their well being and
prosperity alone lies my happiness.
